Yes. I find watching videos seems to interfere with my visualizing images. It is like an overlapping interference. When I stop watching videos for a few days, the images seems to emerge more readily.

I'm sitting in my back yard in a lounge chair on a sunny day, listening to the birds chirping in the nearby trees. An image of a forest of different kinds of trees appears in my mind. It increases to a more of a strong three dimensional image, with a small gorge, and fast flowing stream of water flowing through it. I am right there by the edge of the gorge, surrounded by these trees, the birds chirping and whistling, flying about the trees.
Then I hear people screaming, and this three dimensional image disappears, and I find myself sitting in my lounge chair in my back yard, with neighbours kids screaming and yelling as they play next door.

Alas, I find my mind is becoming more like in Windows 3.0 mode. I do find if I focus on being still without thought the visualizing of images appear like in Windows XP mode.
That may be it. The state of mind has to be in at least Windows XP mode.

Maybe all this be like in the mysteries of the quantum, where the "mind does a mental construction of multiple time dimesnions", but does not know how to stop hidden programs running in the background ? Probably why I myself cannot "visualize this light beam, etc", and cannot answer your question.

That's odd. I just had a thought come into my mind. "You don't know what you are talking about".
