The author says "According to the New York Post, Gates' interest in farmland is motivated by his desire to deal with the issue of climate change as well as to help poorer nations, where people suffer from hunger."
Doesn't sound the right motivation for one dedicated to population reduction.
How about, you can produce more medications and vaccines with GMO plants than you can with a lab. You can do it faster and dirt cheap.
One might wonder what patents he has bought into in anticipation of the coming worldwide health apocalypse.
