And that if it was from a medication slashing cases by 77%, experts would call it a miracle pill. Many are asking the question, why is the number of cases plummeting much faster than experts predicted?

And experts are also factoring in that people are getting vaccinated and the figure of those being vaccinated is rising fast. - The former Food and Drug Commissioner Scott Gottlieb estimates 250 million doses of covid-vaccines will have been delivered to some 150 million people by the end of March 2021. And all this having experts saying that the country is racing towards an extremely low level of Covid infection.

Then the article mentions that as more people are being infected, most of them end up having mild or no symptoms, so there are fewer Americans left to be infected as the coronavirus weakens. At the current trajectory levels with cases falling, many expect quite ambitiously that Covid will be mostly gone by April 2021, thus allowing Americans to resume back to normal life.

Sweden's Karolinska Institute has found that a percentage of people are developing T-cell response after mild or asymptomatic Covid-19 infection and are consistently exceeding the percentage with detectable antibodies, [here]. Then a group of U.K. scientists in September (2020) are noting that the medical community may have been under-appreciating the prevalence of immunity from activated T-cells, [here].
