Excellent question!

I spent 17 years as a research paralegal.

I have worked in both the public and private sector.

Here is my perspective on all this, for what it is worth.

When I read that Dominion filed a defamation case against Trump, et al., I thought, how incredibly stupid!

They just opened themselves up for the legal discovery process.

Are these people really just degrading into abject stupidity?

NO!

The narcissistic psychopaths now supposedly running this country now, know and understand that the main role of Congress is to write laws!

So, in their demented brains, they just figure that they can do whatever they want, then quickly pass a law that approves of their nefarious actions.

Same thing with the abject abuse of Executive Orders.

There are so many, just Federal laws, mind you, on the books that absolutely no one knows how many there really are.

No one is really keeping track of any of it!

Pure insanity IMHO!

Remember too, just after the Nov 3 fiasco of fraud, legions of corrupt judges, state SOS's, AGs, and election officials all agreed IN ADVANCE THAT 2020 was 'the cleanest election ever', there was no fraud - and all agreed in unison to dismiss ANY CASE BROUGHT TO THEM BY THE Trump team.

From lower courts to SCOTUS, Team Trump was completely shuttered out of the legal system.

It will be interesting to see if those same legions of corrupt officials, will be chomping at the bit to side with Dominion again, in order to legally make their corrupt case, in their corrupt courts, a case of corrupt record.

Sort of layer upon layer of fraud, similar to the bill introduced in the house by Sponsor: Rep. Malinowski, Tom [D-NJ-7] (Introduced 01/04/2021)

We know the politicians will side with Dominion, because they would not be office if it were not for Dominions ability to rig elections.
