Was talking with my sister tonight and she told me her son had received a call at her house earlier this afternoon. It was an automated prompt for my nephew who had a been in the Coast Guard up until October of last year. I am paraphrasing this, but the gist of it is correct. The voice said the message was for *name of son* and that the he was being reactivated and the threat level was Defcon 2.
It gave three options to push like if he could report to his nearest base in 4-6 hours press "1", if he can get to the nearest base in 1-2 days press "2", if he was unable to make it at all press "3".
I have no proof to offer but I felt this credible enough to share for what that is worth. (unquote)

Some are saying this message was misunderstood, and actually meant to be COG condition 2 - which is:

COGCON ("continuity of government readiness condition") is a United States government readiness level, roughly analogous to the DEFCON alert state system, tracking the readiness of the government in the event of an emergency.
COGCON 2 calls for deployment to a relocation facility with four hours notice.

DEFCON 2 refers to a further increase in force readiness just below maximum readiness. ... The most notable time that DEFCON 2 has ever been issued was during the Cuban Missile Crisis, although this declaration was limited to Strategic Air Command.

It must also be noted that patriot missiles have been brought into he Washington DC area in the last few days. This is unlikely done for any so called insurrection defense, but rather an anti missile defense system - if a foreign power or high level terrorists launch a missile attack on the US, especially the DC area.
This begs the question, is there a threat against the homeland we have not been told about?
