By now, you should know how war games start.
It's always a tit-for-tat that comes from a staged false flag.
We live in a world where propaganda is app-lied to move the Human Herd mind set in the direction the controllers want the herd to go.
No statements from government are EVER honest, and are seldom truthful in what the statement represents.
Most of the time, government issued statements are doublespeak gibberish, or the exact opposite of what is actually occurring.

We also know that corporate US is a military whore for this same aggressor.
Hell no, the NAME of the aggressor in NO WAY justifies the means.
