Biden nominees for UN, State Department positions have ties to Beijing

(Natural News) Some of Joe Biden’s nominees for United Nations and State Department positions have links to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The National Pulse‘s Natalie Winters reported Nov. 24 that members of Biden’s transition review team for the State Department have also served as Albright Stonebridge Group (ASG) consultants and lobbyists. Chaired by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, ASG is a consulting company with an extensive focus on China. Its website called its China operations “the firm’s largest single country practice.”

Three members of Biden’s 30-member Department of State Transition Review Team hail from ASG – including team lead Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who Biden recently named as the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Thomas-Greenfield also leads ASG’s African practice; she had previously overseen African affairs during the Obama administration.

Transition team member Sumona Guha serves as ASG vice president, drawing on “20 years of experience in Europe and South Asia to advise clients on market entry and expansion, including political and regulatory strategies.” Another team member, Roberta S. Jacobson, is an ASG senior adviser who draws on “more than 30 years of distinguished diplomatic experience” to serve the company’s practice in the Americas.
