Dear Tucker:

This past Weds, my boss, Robyn, and her husband John tried to fly from their home in Florida, to their hometown in Utah, to visit their parents and children for Thanksgiving. In an incredible sequence of events that Robyn believes shows that the airlines are in the control of Communist forces, my boss and her husband were thrown off the plane, the entire jumbo jet was ordered to de-plane (about 400 people), the Delta employee who had followed them across two concourses for 90 minutes came on the plane and turned the back half of the plane into an unsafe, angry mob, by telling them, "These people have committed a mask infraction and because of them, we have to de-plane and sanitize the entire plane."

Keep in mind that 50 people heard Robyn begging the Delta employee to let them get back to their family, saying, "You've followed us and harassed us for 90 minutes across this airport, we are wearing the masks and we have been wearing the masks, we even took off our masks and wore YOUR preferred masks, we've threatened no one, our elderly parents are very unwell and with all the borders closing, we may never see them again if we do not get home tonight."

Not only did Delta employee Brandon Witta create an unsafe environment in the back of the plane by turning the passengers on Robyn and John and blaming THEM for why many of them would now miss their connections--this story actually gets worse.

The Delta employee got off the plane, and told those in the first 2/3 of the plane, who wouldn't have heard what happened in the back of the plane, what Robyn and John looked like, so that they were also an angry mob as Robyn and John got off the plane. After they walked past the screaming mob, the Delta employee was waiting for them, and told them that they would never fly Delta again, and in fact they should leave the airport out in the rain, because he was making sure, since all the airlines are connected now, that they would not be allowed on any flight, to get home to Florida OR to their families in Utah.

So, for her mask slipping below her nose, or what the Delta employee called "a mask incident," they were thrown out of the airport into a state they do not live in, where they found a hotel and drove home from Georgia to Florida all day on Thanksgiving.

This story is more compelling when you connect the dots. Take a look at this tweet by another Delta employee gloating about his new power to throw families out of airports for infractions such as a 3-year old's mask falling below his nose. Finally, take a look at this stealth video of a Spirit Airlines flight attendant telling the passengers that he and his fellow flight attendants are "government officials" now, and that if a passenger commits any mask infraction whatsoever, he will have them arrested at the gate, and fined $250k. (He also mentions "life in prison.")

It appears to Robyn and John that the airlines are no longer competing for business in a free market system, where Robyn has been a Platinum Medallion frequent flier with Delta for many years (has spent $100k's with Delta), but rather they appear, perhaps in the economic chaos for the airlines in the last 9 months, to have been bought up by a rather Communist-like management who no longer needs to compete for business or consider customer service, because they're now the "only game in town."
