Usually, they run a test for one thing and miss the other types of Lyme, Bartonella, Relapsing Fever, etc.. The CDC has used the same concept they used on Lymies in reverse on COVID 19.

The Lyme tests were always negative and if they came up positive folks were told it was a false positive. The COVID 19 tests come up positive even if they don't use any sampling from any person such as simply sending in a long nasal swab with name that was never used and they are getting a positive. Just a clean swab tests positive for COVID 19. So either the tests are wrong, the testers are wrong or even worse the swabs are already infected.
