I have mullein in tea bags and also a mullein tincture, and did use some of both. Thanks for the tip about boneset, hadn't heard of that use for it before. :)

Dr. Christopher recommends Mullein for chest congestion. I smoke it and it works. Dries me out completely -- lungs, sinuses etc.
His teacher Dr. Shook recommends the same but in a small comment on the herb "boneset" (not comfrey) he says that he has never met a flu case that boneset didn't cure.
I've spent a long time studying natural medicine and have used both herbs. They worked for me.
