They use electrically polarized particles. Barium and Strontium are very accommodating to electrical fields, easily polarized.

Picture thousands and thousands of tiny Barium/Strontium cylinders that are polarized. One of the flat sides of these tiny cylinders are covered with aluminum. When these tiny cylinders ejected from planes (chem trails), they align themselves in vertical positions, because of the Earth's electric field. The aluminum layers of these tiny cylinders face the Sun. When the Sun is above these aluminum faced, tiny cylinders, they reflect the Sun light back into space, which cools the Earth in that area.

The early and later parts of the day, the Sun rays can't hit the aluminum layer only the sides of these tiny cylinders. This cause the tiny cylinders to warm up and gain altitude, because of the thermal effect. Of course, at night they sink, because they cool. The up and down migration of these tiny particles could go on for DECADES!

The scientists didn't count on that these tiny cylinders will migrate to the Polar regions. They thought, the Polar vortex will prevent these tiny cylinders to move into that region. THEY WERE WRONG!

When there is Winter in a Polar region, there is not enough Sun light to warm them up, thereby lifting these tiny cylinders, so they fall on the Polar ice caps. They lay on their sides on top of the ice and when Summer comes to the region, these millions of tiny cylinders start warming up. They act like black tarps, causing the Polar ice region to melt at high rate.
