Confirms what Jim Stone has been saying about this much-hyped storm. It is obvious (at least to me) that Dorian coverage has been manipulated by the MSM to provide more ammo to the climate change fanatics.

This is my personal experience with "Hurricane Dorian". We retired 3 years ago in Myrtle Beach SC i was a medical professional for 35 years, my DH had his own business for 40 years, we raised 4 children, I am a pretty stable person. There should be devastation here, but there is not. It looks more like a rainstorm came through.

But even though I am usually a pretty sane person, I went off the reservation on this one. I could not get off the couch for over 24 hours right before the storm, and then at 3:30 am on the morning it arrived here I literally panicked. I laid all of our photos face down so they wouldn't get blown or shaken over.

I packed all our valuables like we were never coming back to the same thing we were leaving. That feeling had been building for about 3 days. Then I told my DH we had to leave, right in the middle of some of the worst weather. Not sure why but he drove us out of here, north to North Carolina. The poor man drove for hours, then we sat and waited to hear what was happening. I was not myself, at all. I kept crying. Our kids kept calling us. Eventually we drove back and got home around 5 pm, again right when it was supposed to be at it's worst.

But it was nothing more than a rainstorm. Occ. howling winds, nothing like I expected from a hurricane like this one was predicted to be. Rarely we saw trees down, a little flooding right near the beach in one place, and one sewer system flooded. So wtf is going on with the news reporting?

When we were driving, every time I tried to get an update on my phone instead I got reports and photos of the Bahamas. I will probably never watch the weather channel again after this. I have Fibromyalgia, so I blamed my reaction to the barometer, but I think there was more going on. Media blitz of fear porn, for one thing.
