Facing Trump's Failures

FACING TRUMP’S FAILURES
I supported Trump for president and agreed with the things he stood for in his speeches. But once he was elected, like with any president, I no longer listened to his speeches but looked at what he actually did. Unfortunately, I was disappointed on his performance from the first day in office. The first thing that was done was an announcement from his Ambassador to the UN in which she started attacking Russia as an enemy. I let that slide as an aberration and didn’t say a word. Then he started bringing in globalists into his administration on a wholesale basis, again I didn’t say anything. Then he continued the occupation of troops in the Middle East and actually increased them in numbers in Iraq, Afghanistan and more in Syria, which was an illegal act against the Syrian government. That was when I recognized a pattern of Trump doing the very opposite of his election speeches and promises. I was still hopeful he would get on track and turn things around, but it got even worse. I was hoping he would stop the North Korean communist before they threatened their neighbors with nuclear weapons - and then spread those weapons to other nations and terrorists by selling them to make a profit. But instead Trump tried to negotiate with the communist leader - which ended with complete failure. In every failed foreign policy Trump followed his predecessors and made global instability even worse.
On the domestic front Trump inherited both houses of Congress with a Republican majority and could have gotten a host of things done. But, instead he got NOTHING done. Except for a few business regulations streamlined and business operations and taxes made easier for big business. But he made no progress on stopping illegal immigration, and in fact it increased every year since he was elected. His bragging about building a wall as if that would solve the problem was entirely the wrong direction to take. He had the option to enforce the laws on the books and increase penalties for employees that hire illegals, but failed to do so. This allowed employees to continue hiring cheap labor and kept the incentive for illegals to keep crossing the border with their families. The truth is the countries they are coming from are failed corrupt states and we are being swamped with them even though we already have problems employing our own minorities. Not to mention the fact we are $23 trillion in debt and can’t afford to take in more people on the poverty level. These facts for some reason don’t seem to matter to the president or the US Congress.
With Trump as president we had the opportunity to slow down on foreign wars and entanglements and discontinue the wholesale support of the military industrial complex from controlling our nation. But instead Trump doubled down on that trend and promoted more wars. Where he should have gone to war to make the world a safer place from terrorism, he failed to do so. And, where he should have brought home troops from foreign lands, he instead increased them. Where he should have joined forces with a democratic Russia, he vilified them and broke the treaty made by Reagan - which has thrust the two super powers into a new cold war. There is no excuse for that, none whatsoever. When Trump could have told the US citizens the truth about corruption in past administrations and world affairs, he covered it up and continued the charade. Instead of helping Syria and Russia get rid of the most evil terrorist group on earth, he invaded Syria illegally and helped evacuate thousands of ISIS fighters to other locations to kill more Christians. And the US to this day still occupies one third of Syria with thousands of troops holding their oil wells hostage. There is no excuse for that. The world is not a safer place since Trump has taken office, it is actually much closer to global chaos and World War Three.
Trump brags about how great the economy is today, but the truth is he is using the same false statistic methods that Obama used. That method is faulty and deceptive and doesn’t count all of those that are out of work. Continuing deceptive policies from previous administrations does not engender truthfulness and openness in government. In fact, it does the very opposite on what Trump ran on in his election speeches. The truth is the economy we have now is still a big bubble and the so-called prosperity we see in the stock market is being propped up by accounting tricks, illegal off shore stock buying schemes by the US government and artificial financial games to maintain what you see today.
Trump has become the P.T.Barnum of political gamesmanship. As long as he and his cohorts can make people believe everything is “spectacular and sensationally good” the suckers keep buying into the hype. While this deception is going on we are getting closer to major break outs of wars on a global scale and/or an economic collapse of biblical proportions. We elected Trump as president because we thought he would bring some responsible actions and common sense to the Whitehouse. Instead he hires his daughter and son in law who had zero experience in those important positions. That is blatant nepotism in action and continues to this day – which is rather embarrassing on an international scale. And while Trump has hired and fired over 30 officials for high positions in his administration, breaking all records, he continues to keep the globalists from the anti-American swamp inside his administration. When you see the facts, you can’t deny what he has actually done. He is a Republican In Name Only (RINO). Before the election in 2016 he was a registered Democrat and liberal with only a conservative view on big business freedom of operations. He took on a conservative view to get elected, then made decisions that reflected globalist policies and supported the military industrial complex with the staging of more wars. This is a recipe for disaster. At this time the most volatile and likely spot to erupt in war first is the Middle East between Israel and Iran, along with Syria. And, guess who will defend Israel at all costs? You got it, the US.
People may ask, well if you don’t support Trump who can we support? The choice was clear in 2016, we could not support Hillary. Trump was the only choice we had to turn the tide - we had to give him a chance. The same is true now. The Democrats have no better alternative for this nation. The truth is there is no political solution to our nation’s problems. The silent majority of this nation has been disenfranchised - we no longer have a voice in government. This is the new normal we have to get used to from now on. The world is not a perfect place, this is what we face - and not having an answer is admittedly uncomfortable and difficult to accept. But it is the reality we face.
