If you are only pleasant when you have enough money to buy all that you need, want and desire, welcome to unpleasantness.

If you are only pleasant when people please you (they do things the way you think they should do things) welcome to unpleasantness.

If you are only pleasant when the government does things the way you think they should do things, welcome to unpleasantness.

If you are only pleasant when everything happens the way you want them to happen, welcome to unpleasantness.

You have needs, wants and desires.

However, life doesn’t care about your needs, wants and desires. Life does what it does (life includes people, places and things).

People do what they do, places are the way they are, and things happen the way they happen.

What to do?

Well, you can kick against the pricks, the hard things of life, and get mentally and emotionally bloody, or you can accept that people, places and things are the way they are and deal with them logically, sanely, reasonably and do things well.
