All of humanity will go through it. Most of humanity will not even know they are in it, until the very last day or so. It is precisely written EXACTLY like that. Read just ONE Chapter of The Word. Rev Chapter 11, and you can prove it to yourself.

See, God 'blinded' all except those who diligently seek Him.. for their protection. His students have always born the pain for all others.

As He said many times to His students...--

Matt 13:10-15
10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. (KJV)

And how can I explain this so that all who wish to can understand?

Perhaps it is like your child's first visit to the dentist, to get a cavity filled. He has heard the many horror stories of his peers, how that the pain, stench and hurt is unbearable, and the trip is to be shunned at all costs.

Still you know as a parent, that the trip is necessary, else greater pain or worse will be coming to him in the future unless he undergoes the trip.
Even with you trying to tell him the true facts, he still does not relent. Crying and screaming all the way, you force him to go..

You request the Dentist to numb him up good or even to use sleeping gas to aid him to bear the trip.

And after the trip? Well all turned out just fine, right?

your child was whole again.

Rom 11:8
(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. (KJV)

Here's how it is written in Rev 11: It is the same as alway -- some bear the pain for all.

Rev 11:7-10
7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. (KJV)
