Rep Cummings’ tweet has been posted for two days and wow!…it has really backfired! Cummings’ tweet has an abysmal 120 retweets and 172 likes. Cummings tweet also has over 5.2 thousand (mostly negative) comments. Almost every comment slams Cummings for the poor job he’s done with his district, or mocks him for using victims of Trump Derangement Syndrome to add their names to his campaign list.
Anyone who clicks on the link will be directed to a page where you are asked to fill in your name, address and email address. Underneath the area where Cummings collects your personal information, there is a “DONATE” button for the few people who responded.
The first response to Cummings tweet was by conservative comedian Tim Young, and it’s perfect!
Elijah Cummings is so upset about Trump criticizing him that he’s going to use it as marketing to add to his campaign fundraising email list.
