The threads at QResearch are called "breads". The important breads where has been posting are called "Q Research General" and are numbered conscutively. Those breads are initiated by volunteer "bakers" who place approximately 5 standard posts at the beginning of the bread. One of those standard posts has always contained a list of "Notables", which are a list of interesting posts from the previous bread, nominated and seconded by anons.

But a few days ago the "Board Owner", who supervises the board, decided unilaterally that the Q Research General breads should not contain Notables, which would instead be collected in a separate Notables bread. Furthermore, the nominate-and-second method for selecting Notables no longer applies, and any anon can post their own list on Natble for a bread, with the result that there are often multiple competing lists for each bread.

Q actually linked to an anon who objected to the changes when the began, implying that Q did not like the changes either, but the "Board Owner" appears to have ignored this.

Q last posted yesterday morning. I am interested to see if Q posts again, and if so, whether "he" comments on the controversy, or instead switches to Q's private board, where unfortunately anons can't comment.

Q has changed public boards in the past. Originally Q posted at 4chan/pol/. When that became chaotic, q switched to a newly formed board, 8ch/cbts/. That started to deteriorate, and Q switched to 8ch/thestorm/, and finally to 8ch/qresearch/, where Q has been posting for over a year. But perhaps there will be another change. We shall see.
