The recent downing of the US spy drone in the
Straits of Hormuz by Iran caused the US to go
into a war footing with a military response.
According to Trump he did not call back the
planes that were headed to Iran to take out the
Iranian military post that launched the attack.
Instead, he says the planes never got off the
ground but he did stop the initial plan to follow
through with the bombing run. Trump felt that
the bombing would cause around 150 deaths
and he concluded that it was a disproportionate
response to the Iranians shooting down an
unmanned drone.
As it stands now Trump signed executive
orders to increase sanctions against the
religious leader of Iran and his circle of
associates. This has in turn infuriated the
Iranians and calling this a disgraceful act
against their leader, and they will refuse any
talks with the US to resolve the ongoing
political conflict. Here is a comment I made
recently about the Iranian situation:
…regardless how a conflict starts I still
believe Israel and the US will prevail. I try
not to take sides in these kinds of issues
and simply look at what the outcomes
might be. Arguments can be made for both
sides of the issue, but that doesn't mean
any side is absolutely right. The truth is
Iran is a threat to Israel, this fact cannot
be swept under the carpet as if it doesn't
exist. This fact does not excuse the US of
wanting a war that is lobbied by the
military industrial complex, or that Israel
hasn't incited a war at times using their
covert means and proxy sources. All sides
have a reason for what they do. But the
fact remains Iran is still a threat to Israel
and the Middle East and has supported
terrorists’ groups that have killed US
soldiers, 3,000 by the latest count. Is it
possible that the US and Israel can ignore
this reality? No, not likely at all. That
means all signs point to an eventual
conflict with Iran regardless who is the
"most right". …(end quote)
A retired government official told me that he
felt that Israel will nuke Iran. This is my
response: …”you could be right. I don't
think Israel can hold back and not use
the bomb, the losses would be too great if
they do hold back. No one knows exactly
how big the nukes are that Iran already
has, but I would guess they are
substantially large enough to wipe Israel
off the map and kill hundreds of
thousands if not millions of people. Also,
recently Hamas has been evacuating
their troops out of Lebanon and Syria in
massive numbers, this may be a sign
they know the end is near and they are
getting clear of the nuke zones. (end
quote)
People must keep in mind that the older
nuclear use policies have changed. Both the
US and Russia have gotten rid of their “no first
use” policy of nukes. Israel has been quoted
decades ago that they would not use nukes
first. However, since that time the political and
military environment has changed drastically,
and not to use them first to avoid being
destroyed - could be viewed by the Israeli
leadership as incredibly foolish and downright
suicidal.
After reviewing the current news on this issue, I
have noticed that quite a few reports are being
made that say Israel will be the one to attack Iran
first, and once that happens the US will come in
to defend Israel against Iran’s retaliation. This
theory of future action was revealed recently by
Sen. Lindsey Graham. The impetus for such an
attack by Israel is connected to the fact Iran is
now within days of finishing the enrichment of
uranium that can be used to build nuclear
weapons. It is well known that Israel has made it
clear they cannot allow Iran to possess nuclear
weapons. This all means there is a real count
down taking place at this time towards a major
war against Iran. Regardless how prudent Trump
has appeared to be regarding the reluctance to
bomb Iran, the stage is still set for a conflict in the
coming weeks.
If a war breaks out expect it be a great shock that
reverberates around the world. Gas prices will go
up, and all the major nations will be in a higher
state of alert. The average citizen will be
wondering how it could have happened, when in
fact it has been building for years to this event.
There has been quotes from Russia that they
would defend Iran in any attack against them.
China has been quoted saying the same thing.
However, as it stands now, I don’t believe that
Russia or China will get involved. If they did it
would end up quickly escalating into a global
nuclear war. The question is, are they prepared
for that outcome?
The other issue that needs to be addressed is,
what kind of response will Iran have towards
Israel once they are attacked? The newly
appointed head of Iran’s military is a well-known
war hawk. Experts believe he would not hesitate
to order a major attack against Israel. If there
was a knee jerk reaction to Israel’s attack it is
quite possible Iran would order a missile attack
on Israel that would include nuclear bombs.
Military analysts for many years have speculated
that Iran has up to 12 nuclear weapons, obtained
from a variety of possible sources like: Russia,
Pakistan and North Korea, and possibly US
made nukes smuggled in after the gulf war from
Iraq. If Iran is threatened, they may not hesitate
to retaliate. Keep in mind that their religious
beliefs spell out a future time when millions of
their people would be killed and become martyrs
in a war. Which means they are not afraid of
such an outcome, they in fact embrace it with
religious fervor.
As far as other hot spots in the world they have
all cooled down substantially compared to the
Iranian issue. It appears that the would-be
revolution in Venezuela has run out of steam.
And unless some action is taken to incite a war, it
looks like that the civil uprising is over. There is a
large NATO exercise going on in Ukraine at this
time with over 3,000 troops and quite a few ships
and planes. The globalists are still trying to
induce Putin to make a rash move against
Ukraine so they can justify going to war with
Russia. At this time there is a Russian Navy
frigate in Cuba which seems to be a sign that
Russia is thumbing their nose at the US by
continuing their support and contacts with
countries like Cuba, Venezuela and other Central
American countries. This is in response to the US
and NATOs aggressive moves into the buffer
nations with nuclear missiles into eastern
Europe - that was forbidden by the agreement
made by Reagan and Gorbachev.
I recently finished writing my ninth book called
“Planet Midnight”. It is the fifth book in the
science fiction series called the Defend the
Galaxy series. In the future I plan to get it
printed. But for now I share it with friends free
in a file as well as any of my books.
