Movie:

ACTIVE MEASURES chronicles the most successful espionage operation in Russian history, the American presidential election of 2016. Filmmaker Jack Bryan exposes a 30-year history of covert political warfare devised by Vladmir Putin to disrupt, and ultimately control world events. In the process, the filmmakers follow a trail of money, real estate, mob connections, and on the record confessions to expose an insidious plot that leads directly back to The White House. With democracy hanging in the balance, ACTIVE MEASURES is essential viewing. Unraveling the true depth and scope of "the Russia story" as we have come to know it, this film a jarring reminder that some conspiracies hide in plain sight.

(Note: I watched this film knowing in advance it would be a one sided view from the democrats and a hit piece against Trump. However, I did find more in-depth information about the long standing connections between Trump and his business partners with the Russian high finance machine. With any one sided hit piece they typically leave out the connections with their own politicians and leanings, and then only focus on those they want to expose, and then exaggerate negative stories about them to create a one sided view. They also omitted huge amounts of information regarding the alleged involvement of billionaire George Soros and Non Government Agencies(NGOs) that were instrumental to the tune of $ billions to facilitate the Ukrainian revolution. What I was viewing was an expose of huge organized crime organizations fighting against each other - one being the Russian mob bosses versus the American and western mob bosses. And in some cases they join forces to make more profits. There are assignations, briberies, corruption and dirty tricks being played from both sides. For anyone that studies political subjects I recommend watching this film to get a view of what is going on behind the scenes. But, don't expect to hear absolute truth, which is in short supply in this day and age. What you will see is an expertly crafted set of cherry picked facts, to make their case against Trump and his several decades relationship with Putin and the Russian oligarchs.

I rate this film 3 stars out of 4. Keep in mind when you watch this film that the wealthy elite globalists in the US and in the European nations have an unquenchable lust for Russian territories and natural resources for the future. And, to accomplish that long term goal of colonizing Russia they must constantly demonize them. In the meantime the short term goals of the wealthy is to enrich themselves by any means possible. Those two goals are not always connected, but they exist side by side nevertheless. I must admit that the case for laundering money to the tune of $ billions was made. They didn't specify what kind of organized crime the money came from, but there is ample evidence Russian money was allegedly run through the purchase of high high-rise condos and business offices, etc. that belonged to Trump's companies - which did not require full disclosure to the public or the government.
