The news story of a few days ago of an airplane sliding into St John's Bay from Guantanamo, brings up a recent theory I derived while reading the book A History Of The Popes by O'Malley, a few weeks ago.

What is it about GITMO (The Detention Center) that it can't be closed? Why didn't Obama fulfill his own Campaign promise to close it. I propose that GITMO is not just extra-territorial, but extra-judicial, with the United States having no say.
Worse, it is a time-artifact having no place in the 21st Century

Guantanamo resembles nothing more than THE HOLY OFFICE (INQUISITION), which is still alive and well today as part of the Catholic Holy See. Through Time, The Church (Catholicism) held/holds Heretics (and Islamic Believers) indefinitely and inflicts torture on them. Historically, the Vatican Department had worldwide jurisdiction and answers to nobody.

Viewing the Articles incorporating the HOLY OFFICE, one sees a parallel with a Super-Agency, above National Jurisdiction

Art. 13 — Depending on their own proper field of competence, the dicasteries deal with those matters which, because of their special importance, either by their nature or by law, are reserved to the Apostolic See and those which exceed the competence of individual bishops and their groupings, as well as those matters committed to them by the Supreme Pontiff. The dicasteries study the major problems of the present age, so that the Church’s pastoral action may be more effectively promoted and suitably coordinated, with due regard to relations with the particular Churches. The dicasteries promote initiatives for the good of the universal Church. Finally, they review matters that the Christian faithful, exercising their own right, bring to the attention of the Apostolic See.

Art. 15 — Questions are to be dealt with according to law, be it universal law or the special law of the Roman Curia, and according to the norms of each dicastery, yet with pastoral means and criteria, attentive both to justice and the good of the Church and, especially, to the salvation of souls.

Art. 48 — The proper duty of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith (HOLY OFFICE) is to promote and safeguard the doctrine on faith and morals in the whole Catholic world; so it has competence in things that touch this matter in any way.

Art. 52 — The Congregation examines offences against the faith and more serious ones both in behaviour or in the celebration of the sacraments which have been reported to it and, if need be, proceeds to the declaration or imposition of canonical sanctions in accordance with the norms of common or proper law.

Somehow, our present Time-LIne Authors see fit to dress this Monstrosity up in Present Day Clothes, the parallels are pretty exact.

Similatrities with Secular Departments

I believe the HOLY OFFICE has a direct relationship with England's HOME OFFICE and the United State's HOMELAND SECURITY Departments. They may control them esoterically. Did you know that Henry VIII was a candidate for POPE?

The News Story about the Airplane

The Story mentions 'A MIRACLE', an inside reference to the CHURCH, also points to Hospitallers (ST. JOHNS RIVER), who were wrapped up in the CRUSADES OF THE 12TH CENTURY. The Airplane had no Air Conditioning (days of old) and was 4 hours late (ships).
