History Speculation

An English Historian may have inadvertently provided us a glimpse of Rerun History.

Simon Jenkins describes in 1277, the English Invasion of Wales by King Edward I. He explicitly uses the term 'Shock and Awe'. This raises eyebrows as we know it to be used in the 2003 Invasion of Iraq by the Coalition, including England.

There is a connection between Wales and Iraq. Edward I, King Of England, before he invaded, brought a huge force of builders to construct Castles, based on the ones used in the Levant for the Crusades. Iraq is known to be included in the area known as the Levant.

The astonishing thing is the Names involved. We know in Iraq of 2003 of President George Bush. Appointed as an envoy to foreign countries in 2003 was James Baker, who was Secretary of State during the first Gulf War. Here is a name that encompasses both George and James in 1277.

'A large force of 15,000 gathered at Chester attended by Coastal Transports, Road Builders and Baggage Trains. A Savoy Architect, Master James of St George was commissioned to bring Masons from every corner of Edward's domain.'

The reigning Llewelyn promptly surrendered without a fight, but owing to the amount of reparations, they wouldn't pay and the ruler was put to death.

The question is blunt, is this a Masonic Operation, and are the leaders of the Gulf Wars, somehow constructed out of old history, and foisted on us.
