Bringing up the past to judge the present when its not an exactly similar situation is inappropriate. When evolution of consciousness is being prevented by the regurgitating of flawed past perceptions of reality, it is inappropriate. This is hellish. Subjecting people to flawed logic is hellish. Some will use this to claim that clinging on to past ideas that still work is inappropriate, but that is also flawed. The lizard brain will always attempt a death roll, to twist things to its advantage. Beware.
Those who don't want people to evolve beyond their schemes and shyster activities, the ones living on residual fumes, act like the devil. They try to chain people to the flawed ways of their past memories.
Again, some will try to throw the baby out with the bath water. What actually works is still useful, and should not be discarded on a whim, or superficial logic or superficial perception of present circumstance. Like getting rid of the second amendment, when we still have many people who lust for domination over their fellow man, women, and child.
This is a variant of the crabs-in-a-bucket mentality. Those who don't learn from the past tend to repeat it, and want to claw back others to their state of mind, because misery loves company. Or maybe they are dependent upon others for their continued existence. Maybe they also desire to have power externally because they don't have internal control over their own thought processes.
Notice those scapegoating have the imagination to "cast their sins" onto a goat, but can't seem to imagine a better way of dealing with things? Or is that just being lazy? Is projection a form of mental laziness?
