I'm no longer alcoholic, I have been cured for more than six years, the craving for hard liquor went away, praise God.
But on the night of Sunday April 10, 2005 I was a picture of alcoholism, was speeding home drunk on my bicycle through the rain at about 10:30 p.m., took a a steep hill stupidly quick then veered at a corner onto a side street and the wheels of the bicycle went out from under me and for a moment my head was headed for the asphalt at what, 40 miles per hour? More? My left arm went out to break the fall, and the pavement shattered my shoulder and broke my forearm in two, if my head had hit the ground first I might not have survived the crash, I certainly was not wearing a helmet.
Later I realized the picture is sort of painted in the first verses of Isaiah Chapter 28, I'm a descendant of Ephraim and the verses say: "Attention, crown of pride of the drunkards of Ephraim, which dwells at the head of the oil-rich valleys...YHWH has an agent mighty and strong (the Holy Ghost by one helpful interpretation) which like a rainstorm, a flood of waters overflowing, will cast down violently to the ground the crown of pride...and the arrogant wreath will be replaced with a diadem of beauty... Then YHWH will guide people and not drunkenness or other worldly passions, lusts and prejudices." (paraphrasing).
That near-fatal bicycle accident happened twice seven prophetic years ago tonight, or 14 times 364 days ago.
Was my crash under those exact circumstances an omen? A sign foreshadowing abrupt correction of another entity or institution twice seven years later?
Another time cycle suggesting yes to that question is that Monday March 25, 2019 is 29.5 years (one orbit of Saturn around the Sun) since the "Blow Loan 48 hours" dream of Monday September 25, 1989, it compared the sudden Fall of Babylon on Friday September 25, 538 B.C. (2555.5 years ago) to the grounding of a large aircraft.
