No, we're not lost but we have a lot to do to get back where we were. Parents need to PARENT, Teachers need to TEACH, Food Productions needs to be REAL FOOD.. and on and on the list goes..

My algebra-trig teacher used to have a saying that stuck with me. He would tell us 'Garbage in, Garbage out.' You feed your brain (and body) what needs to come back out.....

At one time, Hungary had the highest per capita population of mathematicians prior to 1970. They were a cafe society where topics of importance were discussed at tables, on the back of menus, high schools had math competitions country wide, numerous papers written. We used to have large science competitions in the United States. Now look at us.

We're missing the basics, we are hopelessly lost.
