On my way to the market earlier today, a boy cyclist nearly ran me over while I was walking along the sidewalk. He disregarded the adjacent bike lane that was set aside for his use and didn't say 'excuse me' as he silently passed by. Then, just two blocks later, I nearly got struck by an SUV driver who barreled through a red light and made a right turn, forcing me to immediately stop from stepping off the curb onto the crosswalk. I bought a few items at the grocery store and noticed that one of the staples that I often buy (a bag of muffins) has succumbed to inflation, with the package now containing only 6 muffins instead of 8 for the same price. Finally, I stopped at the post office to pick up my mail and received notice that a customer of mine had returned the product that she had purchased and requested a full refund.

Oh, well, tomorrow's another day...
