The reporter asked a former head of a department of the “Internal Ministry of Hungary”. This department head answered only to the “Internal Minister of Hungary”.

Just before this interview was made, the head of the Hungarian Military issued a public statement that the Hungarian Military is not aware of any UFO activity in Hungary. Many people say the head of the Hungarian Military DELIBERATELY made himself look stupid. In December of 1989 there was a MAJOR UFO flap in Hungary as never seen before.

The “Internal Ministry” guy says that he was there for 13 years and he managed the so-called “X-files”. Much of this is still secret. In 1999 he gave an interview to a police newspaper about this.

OFFICIALLY, they didn't call UFOs “ufology” but a branch of the paranormal.
The word “ufology” is originated in the Soviet Union. Apparently, there is a “world UFO union”, which started from the Soviet Union in the late sixties because at that time the Soviet Union “suffered” the most from UFO attacks.

EVERY INFORMATION THE HUNGARIANS COLLECTED ABOUT UFOS WENT DIRECTLY TO MOSCOW. In the past ten years, since international treaties regulate space activities, UFO activities in Hungary were drastically reduced.

During the hardest years of the cold war era, many major governments made treaties ON BEHALF OF THE WORLD POPULATION, WITH THE REAL EXTRA TERRESTRIALS TO LIVE IN PEACE.

The extra terrestrials caused a lot of problems to the Soviet Union but today's generation has no clue what was going on in those days.

From 1972 until the Soviet army moved out of Hungary, Hungary was the center of the European UFO activity surveillance system. For every ten square kilometre in the country, they had one SECRET UFO surveillance station.

The reporter is kind of upset that the Minister of the Hungarian Military didn't know this.
The reply from the IA guy is; “The Minister had NO OBLIGATION TO KNOW about the UFO surveillance grid in Hungary.”

In 1990, after the Soviet Army moved out of Hungary, the Soviet official who worked with UFO incidents were sent to Hungary to make some kind of agreement to keep the UFO surveillance going. Not one Hungarian official received him. Using his own money, he travelled to Hungary, rented a place where he had presentations for three days, open and free to the public. His presentation was that mankind need to come together because it is in DIRE DANGER from extraterrestrials.
At this point, the interview abruptly ended. The reporter wanted a follow up but never materialized.
