David Rothschild tweeted this right after the State of the Union speech. Why did he think no one would remember the speech in the morning? Thirteen hours later, the GOP train crash happened in Virginia. Miraculously, no lawmakers were seriously injured, though many serious injuries and fatalities could reasonably have been expected from a collision of a passenger train going 70 mph with a garbage truck. Such an outcome could easily have driven the SOTU out of the news, couldn't it?
