Dave, one of my children (and 4 grand babies) already live on 40 acres. I've spent the last year selling my house and making ready to join them. They have a 4 acre lake, cattle, chickens, (had a few pigs) a fruit orchard, and about an acre of land dedicated to crops. Oh, and a greenhouse. Meanwhile, they are enjoying all the fishing, swimming, hiking, and four wheeling trails.

I forgot how high the land is there, too.

Lynda, you should move into the country. This doesn't matter to most people because they don't believe and when they finally do, it will be too late. If they have no land to grow food, they die.
