I have to call bullshit on the interview Tucker Carlson had with ‘retired’ CIA operative, Felix Rodriguez. I enjoy Carlson’s interviews with a variety of people and the hard hitting questions he usually asks people. Therefore, I was somewhat disappointed with his question to Rodriguez, “Do you think the CIA had any hand in JFK’s assassination?” “Oh, no, I don’t think so.” Rodriguez replied. Next Tucker asks Rodriguez if he knew E. Howard Hunt. Rodriguez indicated that he had known him.

At that point, Carlson dropped the ball, inadvertently or purposely, I don’t know. But, he passed up the opportunity to ask an obvious question, or make a point. I would have said, “You say the CIA wasn’t involved in the JFK assassination. Yet, E. Howard Hunt, on his death bed, at a time when people are usually telling the truth, said that yes, the CIA had been involved and had been a part of the killing, along with LBJ. Hunt had had a periphery part in the assassination.”

It’s possible that Rodriguez was part of a unit far removed from the JFK unit in the CIA. Kind of a compartmentalization, on a need to know basis. But, I would put good money on it that James Jesus Angleton had more than a hand in it. Cord Meyer was another CIA operative who hated Kennedy. His wife Mary had an affair with JFK, which led to their divorce. Please check out a book called, “Mary’s Mosaic” which talked about Mary Pinchot’s killing by the CIA. It will fill in some gaps about the CIA’s involvement in Kennedy’s death. The book is written by Peter Janney, son of CIA operative, Wistar Janney. To add to the strangeness of the spider webs woven around this shameful period in American history, Mary’s sister was married to Ben Bradley, top dog at the Washington Post, a CIA hotbed. Really, you can’t make this stuff up.

It’s possible that Carlson has no knowledge of all of this. But, it is equally possible that he agreed to skim the surface of that question and move on to other subjects in exchange for Rodriguez agreeing to be interviewed. I think the Company keeps a tight hold on information. Just witness Trump reneging on declassifying all of Kennedy’s files, on whose advice? Oh, yes, Mike Pompeo. And, he wants an important position in the Trump White House, if Trump gets back in? Might just as well invite the fox to live in the hen house with the chickens. Who involved in the Kennedy assassination is still alive? Pompeo just didn't want the CIA to look bad. Too late.

I hope it was an oversight, but my gut says otherwise. It also felt like a lie when Rodriguez said, “No, the CIA wasn’t involved.” Of course, the CIA, according to their charter aren’t supposed to conduct anything in the U.S. But, out of fear, we allowed our Congress to eliminate our freedoms, especially since the time of 9/11, opening us up to surveillance by all of the intelligence agencies. And, as we have found out, what the government takes away, it never gives back. So, it seems to me that the CIA or factions of it, are encroaching in areas normally covered by other intelligence agencies. Why? We have seventeen intelligence agencies for god’s sake. They surely can take care of anything needed to be covered. And there should be no need for CIA involvement.

Not long after President Truman formed the CIA, then called the OSS, I think he realized he’d created a monster. He would have liked to have dissolved it then. After he left the White House, he apologized to the American people for creating it. We need to pay attention. Any time you create an agency that doesn’t really have to be accountable to any one, especially someone who will be gone in four-eight years, you have indeed created a monster. And, Kennedy had already signed his death warrant by firing Allen Dulles and threatening to tear the CIA to shreds and throw it into the wind. Then he goes to Dallas, where he wasn’t all that well liked, but LBJ was. I believe the Chiefs of Staff and the CIA considered Kennedy to be a loose cannon for several reasons. Not only was he talking to Nikita Khrushchev about world peace secretly, he and Mary were also experimenting with hallucinogenic drugs, possibly due to his back problems.

So, when Ben Bradley and his wife, got to Mary’s place, the CIA were already turning the place upside down looking for her diary. It’s too bad it wasn’t made public knowledge. It seems that Jack was planning on divorcing Jackie and marrying Mary once he left the White House. OMG! TPTB couldn’t have that! Anyway, without going too deeply down that rabbit hole, it was pretty obvious to me that the CIA couldn’t allow Kennedy to live. And besides, LBJ wanted the presidency so badly, he was willing to kill for it.

It seems to me that everyone is either in fear of the CIA or is expected to treat them with kid gloves. Sorry, but an agency that goes rogue whenever it wants to, (“Dark Alliance” by Gary Webb) who was killed because he nosed too deeply into the CIA Iran/Contra business? Who is really in charge of this agency? Does anyone control this agency? I would say that no one does. And, they go from president to president with little to no oversight. Yes, each new president often replaces the director, but usually from within the agency. Or the new director is well schooled in what he is allowed to do.

So, I’m sorry but I think the Tucker Carlson interview was a wash up. I hope we don’t see any more of these watered down interviews as attempts to drive the narrative in a direction wanted for the purpose of placating the public. Do not underestimate the intelligence of your audience, Mr. Tucker.
