Trump has been quite the cheerleader of Israel for some time. His oldest daughter is married to a Jew, who just happens to be, I believe, the god son of Benjamin Netanyahu. Trump has always talked positively of him and of Israel in particular. He even kept his promise to declare that the capitol of Israel was Jerusalem. Now, who was it that wanted that done? And, why wasn’t it made the capitol in 1948, when Israel was formed?
The Jewish people make up less than 2% of our population. Yet, there seems to be, if not real Jews, at least members of the Kazarian Fake Jews at the top of nearly everything of any importance in the U.S., banking being one of their specialties as well as Hollywood, sports, universities and let’s not forget politics and their side kicks, the lobbyists. The medical and legal fields are heavily populated with Jews.
It appears that our mutual histories are so intricately intertwined, it’s as though we’ve been annexed by Israel as a colony of theirs. Most people don’t make disparaging remarks about Israel. Speaker Johnson may have committed political suicide by how fast he supported their genocide of Palestinians. You could tell who the hardliners were by how quickly they declared themselves as supporters of Israel. And, to be fair, when the October 7th attack on Israel happened, most goodhearted people were appalled and in complete sympathy with their retaliation, as we were supposed to be.
Then, a funny thing happened on the way to the return fire. It was like someone had forgotten to turn off the spigot and Israel kept blasting away until nearly 35,000 Palestinians, young, old, women, children, were dead. Nutty Yahoo, as I like to call him, couldn’t seem to stop killing Palestinians. And, worse, he expected the world, particularly the U.S., to fully back his genocide of a people. No doubt, this was just another attempt to procure a very valuable piece of property. Israel has been after this oil soaked strip of land almost since the first land grab in 1948.
How did a good number of us allow this tiny country to hold sway over what was once the most powerful country in the world? I remember watching the Six Day War and several other skirmishes that allowed the taking of yet more land from the Palestinians, who were, I guess, supposed to just graciously hand parts of their homeland over to these war like invaders. How did we allow ourselves to be taken in by a group of people who have no respect for anyone who isn’t a Jew? Is that an exaggeration? I don’t think so. Goya, which is what they call those of us who aren’t Jewish, means cattle. How nice. They just simply use us to fight their battles here in the U.S. and elsewhere. And to convince anyone not quite on their bandwagon that they are our superiors.
Nothing showed that more to me than the attack on the USS Liberty in 1967. Granted, it was initiated by LBJ, but Israel was happy to jump right into the plot and fire on an unarmed American Intelligence ship, not armed for battle, but collecting information. When the Israeli pilots, whose planes were unmarked, realized that the vessel was displaying an American flag, they radioed back their commander, “That is an American ship, sir. Verification of the target, please?” I have read that when Prime Minister Levi Eshkol contacted LBJ about the verification of the target they were to hit, Johnson went ballistic, as was his usual reaction when questioned and roared, “I want that goddamn ship on the bottom of the ocean.” And, the pilots did their best, firing on the ship as well as firing on any lifeboat or swimmers in the water. If it hadn’t been for a nearby ship that heard and responded to their distress signals, no one would have ever known about the attack. But, it was necessary. LBJ needed a false flag to blame Egypt over so we could bomb them back to the Stone Age.
Yet, in 1972, when members of the Palestinian Black September group first attacked and kidnapped the Israeli athletes in Munich, we were all holding our breath. The athletes were killed shortly afterwards. It was referred to, by the way, as a massacre. Eleven people. Not that that isn’t horrible, but eleven people compared to at least 35,000 Palestinians? Seriously? And, the way it transpired that the October attack by Hamas was orchestrated by Israel, I am wondering if the same wasn’t the case back in Munich. I don’t really think so, but I wouldn’t put it past them. anymore. However, at the time, I reacted like most of civilized society. I actually admired the way Golda Meir, prime minister at the time, conducted her retribution. She hand picked some men from the military, others from the Mossad to hunt down and kill all the men who were involved in the Munich attack, being careful not to cause any collateral damage of especially wives and children. The movie, “The Sword of Gideon” is a good rendition of how it all went down. Or it is how Israel wanted the world to view it.
And then, I didn’t pay much attention to Israel beyond hearing on the news of a few skirmishes with various neighbors, but usually the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) and Yasser Arafat. I watched various American presidents attempt to get, especially Palestine and Israel, to kiss and make nice, so they could have a two state solution to all the disputing and killing. Egypt’s Anwar Sudat was killed by the Egyptian Islamic Jihad in, I think, 1981 for his efforts at peaceful negotiations. My goodness, what was he thinking? Take away the reason for sparking conflict and wars? The Elite might have to tighten their belts. As these various presidents expounded to the press how close they were to a settlement, I wondered who they were referring to, the regular people (I almost said normal) were, for the most part, able to live and work side by side. The leaders and more radical elements had little desire to settle anything. Strife was their bread and butter. Their reason to exist and skim money from the populace, so they could sit around in comfort, planning the next assault.
Then, 9/11 happened and I, like most of the world, was literally shell-shocked. Who could be evil enough to plan and execute such a monstrous attack on people? Well, very quickly after the attack, we were told that eighteen of the nineteen terrorists were from Saudi Arabia. Was that true? I don’t really know for sure. I did read that one Saudi, in his own country, was stunned to see a picture of himself on TV, from a very authentic looking ID that miraculously survived the explosions and fire. Hmm. That smells like a CIA stunt to me. What was even more curious to me is, we never invaded or punished Saudi Arabia. But, whatever, two men were spotted in New Jersey, across from Manhattan, jumping up and down on the roof of their van, apparently celebrating the horror of the attack. After their arrest, they were thought to be Arabs. But, then it was discovered that the two men were actually Israeli Mossad. Really? And, what were they doing there? How did they know what had happened? Even though I am not an Israeli cheerleader, I would hate to see any attack on them, people dying and ran out of their own homes. But Israelis thought it was wonderful that people were obviously killed, even if they didn’t know the particulars.
So, now Trump has taken Netanyahu to task for his genocide against Palestine? Good for him. Again, I ask, who woke him up? He’s been strangely quiet about Oct. 7th attack and Israel's counter attack, since it happened. So, I was very happy not to see him rushing to defend Israel, as so many politicians have done. How anyone could defend that kind of barbaric behavior, is beyond me. But, politicians like Mike Johnson and Lindsey Graham seem to have no problem doing so. I hope that Trump will continue to hold Netanyahu accountable over his genocide and continued land grab of an entire people. When are people going to be able to set aside any petty differences and learn to live together in harmony? I’ve been asking myself that for the last sixty years. And the answer is, apparently:
Not in my lifetime.
