This guy apparently couldn't handle some things he was learning and lacked context. He might be onto something about crypto having been setup as a type of ponzi scheme but the history of modern economics in general suggests that the whole system of finance has been hijacked by corrupt schemers. Anytime you create an instrument with no intrinsic value and then speculate on the value people will assign to that instrument to try to gain profit it is a scheme that necessitates a loss for someone at some point to enable the gains of someone else - that's not a pro-social system, it is short sighted and parasitic. Not everyone involved with the system knows how it truly works or who is manipulating things.
