I know there's a 89 year old woman who lives in one of the apts my property management manages. I found out last week this woman only eats once a day because she can't afford groceries. I know she used to teach 3rd or 4th grade and was forced to retire when she was 65 years old. Some of the neighbors will bring her a bag or two groceries from time to time, it's sad that people who've worked their whole lives now have nothing to show for it.
