Hi, Folks -

I first became aware of Span (self-described as "Norwegian Turbo-Rock 'n' Roll Commandos") because of a Nissan commercial that used a short part of Span's song "Stay As You Are" as background. Something about the chord choices told me something interesting was going on - so I tracked down the song and found it was from Span. By the time I found that out, however, the group had already disbanded. :)

Various YouTube clips of the group show the same lead singer. Most of the songs have interesting lyrics - something of a rough poetic imagery is present in them - and I began to suspect they'd been written by that lead singer. I've never found that out for sure, but it's why I decided to keep an eye out for that singer - Jarle Bernhoft - to see what he might do next.

From 2004 and their 2003 album "Mass Distraction", here are Span with "Don't Think the Way They Do".
