This is in response to MAXtheMAGAnificent's post on "Countering 'Pro-Palestinian' Propaganda: Israel is a Settler-Colonial State".

MAX has gotten the history somewhat correct but its all slanted history. Briefly, I will just point out the errors of his two major "facts" which shows how bias his history is.

First, regarding his "fact" that there were no such people as Palestinians, that is just a diversion! What ever name you called the people there was a large native population living in Palestine. Today, there is almost NO controversy about the fact that they were kicked of their homes, thanks due to the research of the New Historians of Israel.

Yes, the natives did not just flee the comforts of their homes to wander in the desert on their own desire. Old Israeli propaganda was that they fled due to listening to Arab broadcasts to leave until the Arabs army exterminate the Jews. There were no such broadcasts! Here is a snippet from Wikipedia on "New Historians" :

"Benny Morris coined the phrase "new historians" in a 1988 paper to describe Ilan Pappé, Avi Shlaim, Simha Flapan, and himself.[6] According to Pappé, the phrase "new historians" refers to "a group of professional Israeli historians who worked on the Nakba."[7] Morris states the primary reason for their emergence was the opening of classified Israeli state documents.[6] Shlaim and Pappé additionally cite the shift in the political climate of Israel after the 1982 Lebanon War as a second factor for their emergence.[8][7] Pappé cites Israel's unsuccessful 1982 assault on Lebanon, Israel's "brutal" response to the First Intifada, and the start of negotiations with the PLO, as factors that challenged the assurance of some in the state's official version.[7]"

Second, MAX claimed that Jews were kicked out from the Arab countries. Partially true, but most moved to Israel on the invitation of Israel! Israel needed manpower and invited all Jews to settle in Israel to help with national construction.
