The thing about a crash is people will know it's coming and think they can time it.

I saw a movie, I wish I could remember what it was about; aside from that, the portion I want to reference is, people were given a certain amount of money. All were given the same amount. I am not certain if they knew how many people were involved.

The goal was to be the richest person at the end of some timeline. So, as an example, if several people were given $20,000 (twenty thousand dollars) to trade for a simulation time of 8 (eight) hours and a series of stocks to trade; the goal at the end of 8 (eight) hours is to have the most money.

These people traded back and forth (buying and selling) / (getting profits and having losses) knowing time was running and trading time was reducing. As it got closer to the end of trading time, they all had posted a sale but no one was buying, the only way to be the richest at the end of 8 (eight) hours is to have an amount of cash at the end of 8 (eight) hours that is greater than the amount cash they had when they started trading with and have more cash than everyone who was trading. No one boought. All the cash was locked into the trading system. They all were broke when it was over. With no buyer the stock has no value. The market is connected to what someone is willing to pay.

Jsnip sold his Bitcoin while there was still a buyer. His Bitcoin has value and he has money for selling his Bitcoin. The sellers of the market are those that are/were in the know and the rest are people waiting to see what happens.

What happens in an ultimate crash is NO activity and people expect the Fed to keep it going. The Fed is broke, there are $0 dollars to trade for Gold or Silver. There will probably be no FED plunge protection team because it probably will not be plunging, it's probably going to be locked up. In better words, no buyers is no market. The alarm to get out now was spoken and heard by "them" and it may be that they already got out of the market , or are getting out.

People can't say they didn't know because those that have money have to disclose when they are selling shares in their company.
They've been selling; we haven't been paying attention and the influencers have been saying but on the dip, so the poor people are the counterparty who will one day sell and maybe there will be no buyers only sellers.

Influencers, influence and, are good at it.
