Dear RM Agents and Readers,

I am reminded of two personal interesting stories. I had my last little girl that was adopted and there was a lot of folks sick in town and she ended up getting whatever was going around.

While changing her I realized something was wrong as she was just way to hot, a WOW hot and took her temp and it was just headed past 104 order where I had touched her skin and WOW.
Signed in when we got to the doctors office and explained she was ill, must be what is going around but she was playing. laughing, had been the whole time.

Never cried, just playing, being good. We came in and they kept taking others before us. Finally we am the last ones there and the woman quite indignant asking why I was there? I said when I brought her in the fever was 104 so I've been in here about 3 hours so you might want to take it again. So they checked her temperature and I thought the woman was going to pass out from the adrenaline I saw whish threw her body.

She turned into a different person and began yelling and pretty soon folks were running in every direction, going what do we do, OMG! It was cold outside and some quick thinking person says just walk her around the building a few times and then come back and we will give you the antibiotics she needs and you go straight home.

The next time an interesting fever story came about was on the mountain in Marble and one of the locals had come in and started to tell me how he handled a fever as it were Not sure how the conversation came up but he described in detail:

First he said, he would get a box of Kleenexes, something to heave in if needed stoke the fire to way beyond comfortable, water to drink and sit there like in a sweat lodge and then his nose would pour, run like a sieve, forgot the towel to wipe as he was being drenched. He swore by it and said the next day he would wake up and go to work:) Pretty good story, don't you think? Simple stuff--

Old School basics really but folks have forgotten so much.
