Second attack on Jabalia in consecutive days

Today’s attack on Jabalia refugee camp comes less than 24 hours after dozens were killed and wounded in an Israeli air strike on Tuesday.

Here is a recap of what happened yesterday:

The attack on the camp, a tightly packed neighbourhood in northern Gaza, killed at least 50 people, according to Palestinian authorities. Some 150 were reportedly wounded
Mohamed Abu Al-Qumsan, a broadcast engineer with Al Jazeera’s bureau in Gaza, lost 19 family members, including his father and two sisters, in the attack.
Israel confirmed it was behind the strike, saying it was targeting a high-ranking Hamas commander whose presence was rejected by Hamas.
The bombing sparked outrage across the Arab world and was condemned by humanitarian organisations.
