The State Department has warned its diplomats not to call for de-escalation or an end to the violence as Israeli airstrikes relentlessly hit Gaza, killing hundreds of children.

In a message circulated Friday in emails viewed by HuffPost, the State Department said that high-level officials do not want these three phrases in press materials: “de-escalation/ceasefire,” “end to violence/bloodshed,” and “restoring calm.”

It is appearing more likely that Iran wants to wage war, they have not quieted the Hezbollah down.
Israel may just take advantage of having US support off the coast and go after the Snake's head now, taking out Iran's nuclear program. All the pieces are in place to do so and If Iran is threatening, what do they have to lose verses wait to be attacked.

Reuters: Israel has activated a plan to evacuate residents of 28 villages within 2 km (1 mile) of the Lebanese border, the military said on Monday, following hostilities with Hezbollah.

Hezbollah has published a statement saying:

“Just before six o'clock this afternoon, Monday, the Islamic Resistance attacked the Israeli site of Al-Dahira and targeted a Merkava tank at its entrance with guided missiles and hit it directly.”

Iran's foreign minister says, regarding the Israel-Hamas war, that his country 'cannot stand idly by and watch this situation unfold'.

The U.S. has apparently convinced Israel to not hit Hezbollah.

So now we have a cease fire in Gaza, and maybe one in the North as well.

My whole outlook on any Deep State will change based on the outcome of this... skirmish. All sides seem to have little to no real idea of battlefield tactics, PR, or war in general. Like they're playing a video game and they have to leave for meals and sleep.

If there IS a Deep State, there's zero chance they let this go. If this fizzles, I will forget my doom addiction and will become a real skeptic on the existence of a DS and instead just think things are run by complete imbeciles. From X blogger .

(this is occupied Syria where the US has invaded illegally and has been stealing $ millions in oil.) This event is a reflection of the continued presence and activity of the United States in the region, despite the prevailing political and military context.

Such supplies are typically aimed at supporting operations and missions related to providing security in the region and supporting allied forces on the ground. However, at the moment there is a very high probability that the arrival of a large number of weapons in Syria may be due to preparations for a war against Iran, especially given the fact that the United States previously announced the transfer of a second American aircraft carrier to the Mediterranean Sea.
