Mr. Putin is trying speak to both sides, while ignoring some recent history.

If you check old maps, you will find an officially designated region called “Palestine”... in what is today part of Jordan.

The Jordanian Army forced the Palestinians out of Jordan in the early teens of the 20th Century.

They settled in what is today Gaza. Then the UN reformed what was Judea (stolen from the Jews several times over the last 4,000 years) and renamed it Israel. Israel then had to also ‘adopt’ Gaza, as it was.

Today, the Palestinians (also an ancient people) are inconveniently ‘squatters’ on land that NEVER belonged to Palestinians.

History is a funny thing, large-scale death is not. HAMAS must stop trying to hide history, by shooting people (granted, I’m being simplistic). But, no matter who is reporting what, HAMAS army units Al-Aqsa began this by shooting at everything.

The US began this by sending Gold to Iran. Who gave Gold to HAMAS, who bought guns and ammunition from Ukraine (60% of the munitions received is sold on the black market) and Afghanistan (the US left at Biddn’s insistence while leaving behind $60-billion in military equipment, now a bazaar from which anybody can buy anything... cheap).

All in an attempt to quiet the conscience of EU politicians for abandoning Ukraine...

The Russians are winning, the piper is to be paid soon.
