This new attack by Hamas started Saturday morning in Israel. Hamas soldiers attacked from sevral fronts including land, sea and air. They also sent a barrage of at least 2,000 small rockets towards Israeli cities. The other attack came from "para-gliders" where Hamas soldiers flew inside Israel teritory and then started killing Israelis and taking hostages. The war attack has been mostly from the Gaza strip.

This kind of attack in itself will not give any gains to Hamas or the Palestinians. It will in instead insite a response from Israel that will devasate the Palestinian people whether in the Gaza strip or in Syria, Lebnabon and Iran. This will in turn cause the other Muslims to attack Israel with their forces.

The end result that could come from this is eventually a major miitary attack against the Muslims in the Middle East. If that happens and the Muslims feel threatened, they could launch nuclear missiles on Israel itself. Israel then would automatically counter attack with nuclear missiles and bombs against any enemy targets. Hundreds of thousands, if not millions would die.

It may also draw in Russia to a confrontation with the US, which IMO is why these things are happening. It only required one of several global hot spots to break out to create the environment for direct war with Russia.

On the other hand, this recent conflict could be nothing more than a flash in the pan and die down as quick as it started.
One video showed nothing more than teenage boys throwing rocks with slings. That is not a war.
So far I am not seeing any sustaned attack from Hamas.
