Thanks!! I tend to think Russell is a paraded monkey drug out to fool the masses into excepting socialized everything... Brand is advocating for nothing more than legal plunder for everyone while pandering his latest book... He is not practicing what he preaches....

I agree with the poster. Russell Brand has long been known to be a full on, utopian socialist. Although he is very happy to stay in his very expensive apartment, while making loads of money.

His 2014 stand-up show was entitled Messiah Complex, for which this world-class egomaniac should at least get credit for truth in advertising. The show was a tribute to some of his heroes, among them Che Guevara. And the book he published the same year was called Revolution, in which he expanded upon his enthusiasm not only for the “morally unimpeachable” Che but also for Fidel Castro.

Given Brand’s heavily documented enthusiasm for Castro, Che, and other Communists, we can only suppose that he is unfavorably comparing life in the West today with life under various Communist countries, past and present.

Russell Brand has been labelled "belligerent" and a "champagne socialist" after he refused to discuss his rent during a protest about housing costs.Brand, 39, refused to answer the question when challenged by Channel 4 reporter Paraic O’Brien and called the journalist "snide" for asking it.The row today provoked a furious twitter debate today, with some criticising Mr O’Brien for distracting attention from the issue at hand, while others accused Brand of "ranting and raving".The short interview was conducted during a demonstration outside 10 Downing Street held by tenants of the New Era Estate in east London, protesting against the threat of 93 families being evicted.After being confronted with the issue of whether wealthy property owners are responsible for pushing up prices, Brand responded that his property was rented, adding: "I’m not interested in talking about my rent".When Mr O’Brien pushed the issue, Brand told him: "You’re a snide".
