I was up in the deep woods of the Pacific North West and came upon a checkpoint. People I am an hour and a half from civilization on back roads and came upon a " checkpoint ".
I was stopped, and I am NOT KIDDING two Afghanistan nationals approached my rig and said I can go no further in very VERY broken English.
I spoke to them in broken Arabic and found out they are from Afghanistan and are there to make sure that I or anyone else does not go past.
I eventually got a supervisor who spoke English, and said he understood my situation but was from another state and basically told me to "F" off. An hour of conversation eventually told me I would be arrested if I tried to pass.
WTF IS GOING ON ? I am in Oregon, this happened in the Cascades east of Eugene.

Additional comments: I speak broken Arabic because of my " time " with Arabs. This happened off highway 126.
