My comment: Who benefits from the assassination of Progozhin? Plenty of people wanted hi dead, to take revenge for the attempted brief coup 2 months ago. however, who would benefit the most?
It is hard to tell at this early hour who downed the jet aircraft the Wagner leadership was flying in. But from first reports and insights, it appears that Nato and the US government had the most to gain. They would be hoping to spark a shooting revolution in Russia which would end up seeing the collapse of the current Russian government and the replacement by an occupying force, or a new regime that would facilitate the break up of the Russian empire.
One thing is certain, there is a lot of chaos and confusion in Russia at this time, and anything could develop into something more dangerous and critical on the world stage.
Personally I don't think the Wagner group will try another coup, but they did have a plan in case their leader was taken out. We also don't know the depth of their emotions at this time. It is also possible they have a few tactical nukes they could use in specific areas. It is also possible the west would take advantage of this chaos and have Poland invade Ukraine or Belarus, or create a false flag that would justify Nato getting directly involved in the war against Russia. Facts surrounding Prighozin death are difficult to ascertain given there are a few suspects.

I am not fully ruling out Putin being responsible for this assassination, or Ukraine intelligence.

I am leaning towards it being CIA/MI6. I could be totally wrong.A genius plan to take out Wagner Leadership. And at the same time leave Putin looking like the prime suspect,precipitate political collapse of the Russian Federation.
