Shock American Credit Downgrade Triggers Trump Death Penalty Indictment Aimed At Free Speech

A gobsmacking new Security Council (SC) report circulating in the Kremlin today first noting President Putin will visit Turkey to meet with its NATO member leader President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, says this announcement followed United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres condemning socialist Western colonial puppet state Ukraine for launching drone strikes targeting innocent civilians in Moscow, with him forcefully declaring: “We are against any and all attacks on civilian facilities and we want them to stop”.

Among those knowing that Russian patience towards the socialist Western colonial powers has passed its expiration date, this report notes, is former top Pentagon senior advisor and decorated combat tactical legend retired US Army Colonel Douglas Macgregor, Ph.D., who, in his just released open letter “Make Peace, You Fools!”, warningly observed:

In February 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin opted for incrementalism in his approach to the “Special Military Operation” in Ukraine.

Putin committed fewer than 100,000 Russian troops to a shallow penetration attack on a broad front into a country the size of Texas. Having failed over a period of nearly 15 years to persuade Washington and the collective West of Moscow’s opposition to NATO’s advance to the east, Putin seems to have concluded that Washington and its NATO allies would prefer immediate negotiations to a destructive regional war with unknowable potential for escalation to the nuclear level.

Putin was wrong. He made a false assumption based on rational choice theory. Rational choice theory attempts to predict human behavior based on the assumption that individuals habitually make choices in economics, politics, and daily life that align with their personal best interest.

In international relations and war, the defining features of human identity—history, geography, culture, religion, language, race, or ethnicity—must also figure prominently in any strategic assessment. As Peter Drucker reminds his readers, culture is the foundation for human capital. These realities routinely defeat the unrealistic expectations that rational choice theory creates.

Instead of approaching the negotiating table, Washington discarded the caution, given Russia’s nuclear arsenal, that had guided previous American dealings with Moscow.

Washington’s political class, with no real understanding of Russia or Eastern Europe, subscribed to the late Senator John McCain’s notion that Russia was a “gas station with nuclear weapons”.

Putin is not a risk-taker. But he abandoned incrementalism, and rapidly reoriented Russian forces to the strategic defense, an economy of force measure designed to minimize Russian losses while maximizing Ukrainian losses until Russian Forces could return to offensive operations.

The Russian change in strategy has worked. Despite the unprecedented infusion of modern weaponry, cash, foreign fighters, and critical intelligence to Ukrainian forces, Washington’s proxy is shattered. Ukraine’s hospitals are brimming with broken human beings and Ukrainian dead litter the battlefield. Kiev is a heart patient on life support.

Indulging Poland’s passion for war with Russia encourages Poland to follow the Ukrainian example. The very idea must leave Moscow no choice but to bring all of Russia’s military power to bear simultaneously against Ukraine, before the collective West stumbles into regional war.

With Fitch becoming the second major rating agency after Standard & Poor’s to strip the United States of its triple-A rating, this report details, the economic catastrophe masterminded by the deluded socialist Biden Regime is not being reported to the American people by their leftist mainstream media overlords—these leftist mainstream media overlords are also ignoring the new polls showing President Donald Trump would beat all of his Republican Party rivals and Supreme Socialist Leader Joe Biden if the election were held today—this week these leftist mainstream media overlords failed to inform Americans about the under oath testimony implicating Socialist Leader Biden in mass bribery crimes—a massive leftist mainstream media cover-up of true things now joined by the insightful article “The Simple Explanation For The Democrat And Media Blackout On The Biden Scandals”, wherein it most factually assessed:

Conservatives looking to expose the full extent of the Biden family’s corruption have a problem: the scandal might be too big to break.

The day following Benson posting his predictive warning, this report continues, yesterday it saw the socialist Biden Regime slamming President Trump with another indictment, who is scheduled to appear before the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on 3 August at 4:00 p.m. local time—a court appearance that will be presided over by radical socialist Obama appointed United States District Judge Tanya Chutkan, who worked for the law firm representing Hunter Biden and the Associated Press labeled as the “toughest punisher” of 6 January protesters, all of whom she sent to jail even though prosecutors didn’t recommend that punishment—and is a radical socialist judge most critical notice because President Trump was slammed in this new indictment with a charge that carries the death penalty.

In response to being outrageously indicted by the socialist Biden Regime again, this report details, President Trump most factually observed: “The lawlessness of these persecutions of President Trump and his supporters is reminiscent of Nazi, Germany in the 1930s, the former Soviet Union, and other authoritarian, dictatorial regimes”—a factual observation joined by the Wall Street Journal worryingly noting: “The indictment charges one obstruction and three conspiracy counts related to what it claims was a broad effort to overturn the 2020 election based on “dishonesty, fraud, and deceit”...The indictment concedes that Mr. Trump “had a right, like every American, to speak publicly about the election and even to claim, falsely, that there had been outcome-determinative fraud during the election and that he had won”...In other words, Mr. Trump can lie about the election all he wants...But the indictment says Mr. Trump broke the law when he acted on those lies...Those actions include lobbying state officials to hunt for voter fraud, working with his conspirators to stand up substitute electors in seven states, and trying to persuade Vice President Mike Pence that he had the power to refuse to count electoral votes on Jan. 6...This is a remarkably broad theory of “conspiracy to defraud the United States,” and one with troubling implications far beyond the fate of Mr. Trump...Mr. Smith’s theory seems to be that if a President and his “co-conspirators” are lying, and then take action on that lie, they are defrauding the U.S...This potentially criminalizes many kinds of actions and statements by a President that a prosecutor deems to be false...You don’t have to be a defender of Donald Trump to worry about where this will lead...It makes any future election challenges, however valid, legally vulnerable to a partisan prosecutor...And it might have criminalized the actions by Al Gore and George W. Bush to contest the Florida election result in 2000”.

Not explained to Americans about yesterday’s dangerous indictment of President Trump, this report concludes, is that it’s aimed directly at the free speech rights enshrined in the First Amendment to destroy them in order to protect the socialist Biden Regime and lying leftist mainstream media—a fact acknowledged in the just published leftist New York Times article supporting President Trump’s indictment “We Are In A Five-Alarm Fire for Democracy”, wherein it insanely proclaims: “We are in a five-alarm fire for democracy, and this is something that started in 2016...It is the result of decades of campaigns to undermine faith in the media, and all sorts of declining trust in public institutions...Lies spread by presidents and other high-ranking government officials are so damaging to democracy that America must find constitutional ways to hold them accountable, more than we hold other liars to account”—an insane proclamation quickly countered by the conservative Federalist article “DOJ Indictment Of Trump Is A Declaration Of War Against American Voters”, wherein it truthfully observed and gravely warned:

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden’s Justice Department took the unprecedented step of indicting former President Donald Trump — Biden’s chief rival in the upcoming 2024 election — for repeatedly expressing his opinion that the last election was stolen, rigged, and unfair.

It’s an opinion millions of Americans share, and to which they are unquestionably entitled thanks to the First Amendment. That includes Trump, who has said repeatedly (and recently) that the 2020 election was stolen. He’ll probably keep saying it until his dying day, and he has every right to do so.

The idea that our Justice Department can indict someone, especially the sitting president’s main political rival, over speech that’s protected by the First Amendment is simply insane. It puts us firmly into banana republic territory, where tinpot dictators jail their political opponents ahead of election day to ensure their “reelection”.

Simply put, this indictment is nothing more than a declaration of war against American voters and their constitutional right to free speech. As Jonathan Turley noted on Twitter, “If you take a red pen to all of the material presumptively protected by the First Amendment, you can reduce much of the indictment to haiku”.

Crucially, Smith’s indictment alleges that Trump’s claims about the 2020 election were false and that he knew they were false. As evidence, Smith cites a bunch of Trump officials and federal bureaucracies that told him there was no evidence of widespread election fraud. He even cites the infamous Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which we now know, thanks to the “Twitter Files,” directly interfered in the 2020 election by censoring Americans by proxy.

Yet despite the likes of CISA telling him otherwise, Trump kept claiming the election was stolen, so he must have been lying. Or so goes the reasoning here.

I know, I know. You’re probably thinking this can’t be real, that no one would be so stupid as to hang charges on the idea that Trump secretly believed he’d lost the election because a bunch of deep-state officials told him so, but lied about it in hopes of pulling off a grand “conspiracy”.

But it doesn’t matter. Whether Trump knew he lost the election and lied about it is a political matter, not a legal one. It’s precisely the kind of thing that can only be settled by voters, not by DOJ thugs in the Biden administration.

Think of it this way. If Smith can indict Trump for speaking out about the election, for arguing that it was stolen or rigged, then rest assured the DOJ under Biden could indict every one of the millions of Americans who agree with Trump about 2020 and have said so publicly.

Forget about Trump for a minute. This indictment sets a terrifying precedent that puts all Americans at risk.

If the prosecution of Trump succeeds, it means the First Amendment is a dead letter in America.

It means you’re not allowed to have opinions that contradict the Justice Department’s official narrative — and if you do, you’d better not have the temerity to run for high office.
