I’ve been watching this for some time. I’m in awe of how these people can believe the lies the Deep State shovel into their brains. I noticed, as I watched the Black Lives Matter and Antifa folks lose their minds over George Floyd, that very few were black. Why was that? WOKE whites trying to show their inclusiveness? I’m sure the blacks were impressed.

I don’t know which was more ridiculous, my granddaughter switching her hair color (to fit in with the WOKE crowd)like most people change their underwear, or trying to keep up with her PRIDE holiday dinners. They became something of a waltz through the sitcoms of the 60’s and 70’s. Of course it helped that her boy toy’s family were truly indicative of every societal level in America, and truly educational as I watched her blend everyone for get-togethers.

From her husband’s wealthy daddy and grandpa to her boy toy’s blatantly gay brother, his lesbian sister and a string of hangers on of colorful friends and neighbors that had nowhere to go for the holidays. In that respect, she follows me. I have always invited people who had no one to spend a holiday with.

As a lifelong observer, I was quite content to watch how these people interacted with each other. Most of the younger set, not the children, They are always colorblind, which is as it should be. But people who believe in monogamy, that marriage should be between one woman and one man, must have felt like their comfort zone had been invaded.

Her dinners usually included my daughter and her present husband, My daughter’s first husband and his new bride. Her second husband was not welcome. My granddaughter’s father-in-law and his new wife along with his first wife and her new husband. Anyone lost yet? There were various colors and combination of colors and an assortment of children. Always an exciting time. My husband, raised by a Methodist minister, was often just speechless.

This part of WOKE was fun and educational. Her politics were not. I talked to her recently when she was on her way to a Pride March. My tolerance has it’s limits. Since she home schools, she doesn’t have to deal with teachers initiating her children in various sexual orientations, when all they really want to do is try out the new slide on the playground.

If any of the RMN readers have families like this, I would encourage them to ask questions. I don’t care that consenting adults do or believe certain things, but I always want to know why? Are they inviting that black or mixed couple because she really likes them as people? Or because she’s afraid people won’t like her if she doesn’t? The answer makes a difference. Is she inviting various mixes of in-laws, cohabitating couples, gays and straights and everything in between because they have nowhere else to go and she feels sorry for them? Or is she trying to impress others of how inclusive she is?

I would caution that as my walk on the wild side of civil rights in the 60’s could have cost an old friend his life had we lived in the Deep South. My father employed several black kids from a poor family, to work for him on our farm. I worked right along side of them. They got paid. I didn’t, if you want to talk about slave labor! We worked side by side clearing pasture land, ate lunch together and went swimming in the deep creek that ran through our place when done for the day. Fast forward to the 60’s, high school and in the middle of riots in various places, I didn’t see any reason why I couldn’t ride our city bus with the guy who was my friend and classmate and walk the rest of the way to school with him.

I didn’t understand why he was so uncomfortable being with me. It would be years before I realized that the race riots were separating those of us who believed in MLK’s dictum to judge a person by the content of their character, not by the color of their skin, and those who would never be able to get past someone’s skin color to see who they really were.

I finally understood that he was nervous that prejudiced people looking for an ax to grind, would not see two people who’d been friends for years. Instead they would see a young black male obviously trying to start a romantic relationship with a young white girl. Wherever you are, Dave, my apologies for being so obtuse. (That’s a fancy word for block-headed.)

But, back to the WOKE culture of today. Has anyone else noticed that these WOKE/ Libtards have no sense of humor? They are too busy trying to cram their WOKENESS down our throats. Sorry, there a some things we will never agree on. I don’t care who consenting adults marry or cohabitate with. Leave the children alone. WOKE teachers, teach my grandchildren the basics at least of math, science, history, and English. My 13 and 15 year old granddaughters can’t read or write cursive. Is that because nearly everyone has their nose in their computer, I-pad or cell phone? Or is it because many of our
Founding Fathers wrote their thoughts in cursive and we don’t want our young to be able to read their papers?

I don’t care if someone has an early term abortion and pays for it herself or with her husband/or boyfriends money. But, don’t use it as a form of birth control and expect my tax dollars to pay for it. I don’t give two shits who sits in the White House, as long as they didn’t cheat to get there. I’ve voted for the person I believed, after much research, to be the best for the job, regardless of party affiliation.

I don’t care if someone who is permanently disabled or temporarily unable to hold down a job, collects welfare. But, don’t expect me to pay for your unwillingness to work so you can sit at home and play video games or surf the web while eating yourself into oblivion. And, I couldn’t care less if the WOKE generation wants to line up for jab after jab of experimental drugs not approved by the FDA. Just don’t think you are going to mandate my taking them. Not going to happen, or only after I run out of bullets.

So, WOKE people, color your hair until you ruin it permanently. Try to cram your size 48 ass into a bikini or skinny jeans. I can look the other way, ignore you and go on about my life. The same thing will happen to you as happened to the flower children of the 60’s. Sooner or later you’re going to realize that most employers aren’t interested in hiring you for your bold statements, but for your ability to show up every day and actually work while you are there.

Somehow, these WOKE, climate cultists, eugenicists are anti-human. No wonder most of them have no sense of humor. That is why I find all of this funny on one level. I have a warped sense of humor.
