its saturday night

a weird time thing just happened to me tonight

i work as a security guard

we have monitors, a big pc screen with lots of smaller screens
showing various areas of the building and a time clock on the screen , i use that time stamp to record in a book the time i checked everything

i usually set my phone to 1 hr and 40 minutes to remind me to check the screens, once i check the screens , i reset the phone timer, i like to leave more time between checks like the 1 hr and 40 minutes, its to our discretion

i checked the screen at 11 pm, i recorded it in the book no activity, went and sat down, dont recall if i did set the timer on my phone that time, but time had passed , checked my phone and there was like 3 minutes left on the count down, i went to the screen and i saw it was 11:51

i said oh thats not enough time between checks to record, so i sat down to do other work, this time i did reset my phone timer to 1hr 47 min.i do recall that.

time had passed and i saw 37 minutes aprox had passed on my phone timer. so i went to the screen and saw to my amazement it was 11:55 pm!

my phone said 37 minutes had passed which seemed correct, but the monitor said 4 minutes had passed

these are all digital things which cant really be manipulated
