Malaria is an illness that is not that hard to treat when properly diagnosed - anti-parasite medicines are used, and of course Jim Humble began his journey with chlorine dioxide successfully treating malaria. With tons of people coming into the country from Latin America it's not surprising that some tropical infectious diseases will appear. It is a good idea to use herbs that repel mosquitoes to reduce getting bit by them. Also be careful to stay indoors when mosquito spraying operations are filling the area outdoors with pesticides.
