Hi,

This may be of help. If you have hydrogen peroxide, glycerin and olive oil.

Years ago I use to clean plugged ears with hydrogen peroxide. A teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide poured slowly into the ear canal as your head is tipped sideways, allows the peroxide to foam up and activate at loosening garbage in the ear canal. The garbage floats to the surface where someone can gently assist you with removing the garbage with a q-tip swab or a twisted piece of Kleenex tissue paper. Once all the loosened garbage is removed, place a Kleenex over the ear and tip your head over to drain out all the foam and hydrogen peroxide. Swab out the ear gently to remove any other loose garbage and to dry up the peroxide still wetting the ear canal. Keep the peroxide away from your eyes.

Once the canal is clean and wiped dry from peroxide, you can gently swab it with warm water on a Kleenex or q-tip to make sure it is clear. Now I would place a few drops of olive oil into the ear canal to moisturize the skin cells in the canal and again I would gently swab the canal with some Kleenex or a q-tip to wipe away the excess olive oil. Then I would drop in a few drops of glycerin to help lubricate the ear canal and again use Kleenex or a q-tip to remove the excess glycerin gently.

The peroxide bubbles up and removes the garbage, sounds like the roar of the ocean in your ear while it is cleaning out the garbage for twenty seconds, the olive oil gently coats the irritated skin and provides basic nutrients to aid the skin cells and the glycerin coats the canal walls with its lubricating properties and protective layer to cover the cells and allow garbage to float out easily.

I did this once a day for two or three days and it cleaned and healed the irritated ear canal. Check with a health professional if you consider trying this for yourself.
