Mike's thoughts:

This is an epic failure, but not in the way you might think. The failure is of the people at large and not their elected morons and misfits and criminals.

It is not possible to write every possible violation of law and contract and the infinite variances of each violation. You would fill an infinite universe with dead ink and dead paper before you even scratched the surface. (Scholars would love this but they don't actually live in the real world. Attorneys would just gorge themselves to death and wish for more.)

Any body of "law" that lists crime and punishment represents EPIC failure of that people, those adherents. This includes civil or criminal case law, old testament law including ten commandments, Jewish law, Muslim law, Code of Hammurabi and the list goes on including forty eight conservative bills killed in Texas house this session. This same happens in every state as well as at the federal level. It happens everywhere. Historically it always portends an end because it becomes an endless list instead of an evaluation of motive and intention. A crime is willful damage to or endangerment of another. It is not complicated but it does have to be reasoned case by case, the exception being war. A list is neither reasoned nor is it reasonable. It is death of intuitive do unto others as you would have them do unto you. It is the death of reason.

Do to others as you would have others do to you. This is intuitive. It has been since the dawn of man's introspection. This does not apply to paths, evil persons or to savages, rich or poor educated or not. It does apply to about eighty percent of the current world population when not suppressed.

It comes to this. If it is not listed as a crime then it is not. It is therefore not a crime for naked perverts to parade through the city with children present. It is not a crime to loot and burn for an approved cause. It is not a crime to abort a child after birth. It is not a crime to steal an election nor is it a crime to refuse to prosecute a stolen election. It is not a crime to bring hordes of unlawful, belligerent invaders into the land. And it goes on and on until it burns out because it brings out the dormant criminal in so very many people at all levels of the population. When it reaches the list stage it cannot be stopped. It has to burn out. I really hate saying that.

If it is not listed as a crime or a sin then it is not a crime or a sin. Power loves that. It can get away with anything and it can extend that privilege to you! (In small part, of course. Be thankful.)
