One down, four hundred and thirty-four to go. Let's say Lily Tang Williams wins the seat in New Hampshire. (She announced candidacy yesterday, one year before necessary.) Think of her as a role model. All other Congressional districts should follow. This would be heavenly.
Lily came out early for parents' rights. She had been in the Libertarian Party but now is Republican. There's a pretty good fit between her and the Republican ideals. As far as I know she is "all the way with 2A"
But she is more up-to-date than the rest of them. She has been there, done that -- lived under communism, I mean. Other Americans are sniffing Marxism in the air; to Lily it is a stench. She was a child during China's Cultural Revolution. Do you recall re-education camps? Do you recall people being told to bang their head on the floor and if they didn't bang it loud enough, to try again?
I suppose any dictator could order such obeisance, without being Chinese. But the communist way of getting you to obey is allegedly -- emphasis on the allegedly -- based on morality. "We" must unite and treat everyone equally. He who flouts the commie ethic is harming his neighbor. What a system!
Two Soviet jokes tell what we might be in for:
1. Stalin, during a speech: “I am prepared to give my blood for the cause of the working class, drop by drop.” A note is passed up to the podium: “Dear Comrade Stalin, why drag things out? Give it all now.”
2. What’s the definition of a Russian string quartet? A Soviet orchestra back from a US tour.
[Although there won't be a place for us to flee to]
Now for Lily. Back in 2022, she was running for a Congressional seat from New Hampshire's District 2 and I was running in District 1. (She got a zillion more votes than myself.) I felt I knew all I needed to know about her when I spied a photo of Lily, husband, and their happy, health, grown-up kids.
There is an election obstacle. NH is not the conservative, freedom-protecting state it used to be. All four federal positions -- two reps and two senators are held by Democrats. The incumbent, Ann Kuster, hasn't got a thought of what to do, despite all the crises around us. At least none that I've heard her articulate. She votes down the line as instructed by Biden. It will be a ball to have Lily Tang Williams strutting her stuff, and believe me she struts it.
Lily goes postal over what schools are doing to our kids.
Apparently, the longtime human concern with how decisions are made, and who makes them, is being deliberately blotted out. So said the late wonderful schoolteacher, John Gatto -- twenty years ago. This is from his book "Dumbing Us Down":
"The children I teach are indifferent to the adult world. This defies the experience of thousands of years. A close study of what big people were up to was always the most exciting occupation of youth…The children I teach have almost no curiosity and what little they do have is transitory. They cannot concentrate for very long, even on things they choose to do. The children I teach have a poor sense of the future, of how tomorrow is inextricably linked to today…they live in a continuous present: the exact moment they are in is the boundary of their consciousness."
Gatto was a high school teacher in New York City. When writing that in 2002, he had not yet met the Millennials, the generation born 1990 or later. I believe that the Millennials, and perhaps the generation before it, Generation X, were deliberately fiddled with. For children to have, as Gatto said, "no curiosity" is a deviation from biology.
I have no idea how such a thing was accomplished, but US Government efforts at mind control are well established. Senator Frank Church's 1975 committee exposed it a half century ago. Yet no effort has ever come forth to try to stop it.
Put Lily in Congress. Let her strut. Let her scream.
We neeeeeed Mrs Tang Williams.
